Up until this point in our journey through Myanmar, most of the sights we visited were temples and Buddha sculptures, some in caves, some on mountaintops and all of various shapes and sizes. After leaving Bagan, Myanmar, we grabbed a bus to Kalaw, a small hill station that serves as the starting point for treks to Inle Lake. At the end of our three-day, two-night trek from Kalaw, we ended at Inle Lake. It is a beautiful freshwater lake, surrounded by floating gardens and filled with delicious fish (you can see how the fishermen use their legs to paddle or row). A truly beautiful place in Myanmar.
Everything about Myanmar was amazing. However, our choice to take a 3-day, 2-night trek (hike) from Kalaw to Inle Lake, Myanmar was a particular highlight. Finding the right guide was quite an adventure , but once we settle on a company and group to go with; it was great time. The people we met along the Read Post
